PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

The main goal of the PTTP is to produce highly motivated and effective
teachers. As such, at the end of the programme the participants would have:

i.         acquired adequate knowledge of the subject matter;

ii.        acquired pedagogical proficiency for effective teaching;

iii.       imbibed relevant values and attitudes that would make them develop
positive attitude towards the teaching profession;

 iv.     acquired basic background for further continuous upgrading and updating  programmes in the teaching profession.
